A Message From AITA's President
The richness of Alabama’s technology landscape was once a well-kept secret. Yet the diverse innovation that continually springs from our borders has provided technology solutions to every corner of the globe. The AITA is proud of Alabama’s rich technology heritage. As the oldest standing statewide association dedicated to the growth of the high tech economy, the AITA’s mission is to advocate, educate, and provide entrepreneurial support to all those innovators who work to keep our state’s talent the forerunner of innovation.
The AITA was incorporated in early 2000, with the intent to become the voice of Alabama’s high technology industry; To support those individuals, services, and investors that will breed tomorrow’s economic base in our state. Today, a membership to the AITA is a testament of support, pride, and a vision for our state’s future as a technology leader across the globe. To join the AITA is to join forces with more than 300 other like-minded business people, entrepreneurs, and investors across Alabama.
The strength and breadth of the AITA is reflected in the memberships, sponsorships, and volunteer support that has kept the association a viable resource for Alabama’s high technology corridor for more than 7 years.
