As the Enterprise Sales Director for the Greater Southeast District, Kevin McDonald directs and oversees Microsoft's "Enterprise and Partner Group" business across Alabama, Mississippi, and Georgia. In this capacity, Kevin leads a diverse team of sales, marketing, services, and technical professionals responsible for driving sustained business value with 60+ large enterprise customers. Key performance metrics include: revenue growth, building strategic business relationships in the customer and partner ecosystem, enhancing employee satisfaction and leading Microsoft's work in the communities throughout the three state market.
Prior to serving in this leadership capacity, Kevin has held positions of increasing responsibility at Microsoft including account management, metro, and regional product sales management. Prior to Microsoft, Kevin has held various field sales and services management positions with leading technology firms such as IBM Global Services and Dell Computer Corporation. Kevin has been recognized as a top performer in each and every role during his 11 years in the technology industry due in large part to his passion for customers, people focused leadership style, and commitment to operational excellence.
In addition to leading Microsoft's work with corporate customers and partners, Kevin is dedicated to involving his Microsoft team directly in the community. Kevin serves on the board of directors for both the Alabama Information Technology Association (AITA) and the Alabama chapter of the International Association of Microsoft Certified Partners (IAMCP).
Kevin resides in Mountain Brook, Alabama with his wife and three children. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a B.B.A. in Management Information Systems and Finance.
