Mark Green joined Hilb Rogal & Hobbs (HRH) in 2002 as a Commercial Insurance Producer. He was appointed to his current position of Vice President in 2005.
Prior to joining HRH, Mr. Green spent 11 years as a Naval Flight Officer in the United States Navy. Serving as a Bombardier/Navigator aboard the A-6E Intruder, he logged over 1000 flight hours and 305 traps aboard the carriers USS Nimitz and USS Enterprise. During two deployments Mr. Green earned the Strike/Flight and individual Air Medals for combat in Operations Southern Watch, Desert Fox, and Deliberate Forge.
A 1991 graduate of Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science degree, Mr. Green also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (2002). He specializes in providing risk management solutions to the technology and related biotech and medical industries. Placing business internationally, his particular areas of expertise are Errors and Omissions and General Liability solutions for startup, mid-market, and large public technology concerns.
He was an award winner in the HRH National Sales Contest for 2004, 2005 and 2006. This prestigious award is given to producers finishing in the top 10% of the national sales force.
Mr. Green is a leader of the HRH National Technology Practice, a board member of the Alabama Information Technology Association, a member of the Birmingham Venture Club and the Birmingham Committee on Foreign Relations.
