Faron Golden Retirement Announcement

 

MONTGOMERY ALA, June 19, 2007 Integrated Computer Solutions, Inc (ICS), a Montgomery, Alabama based Information Technology (IT) and Security Consulting firm, has announced the retirement of Mr. Faron Golden, its Chief Operating Officer (COO) on July 31, 2007.

After leading the company's transition from a single corporate entity to an enterprise comprised of four divisions, Mr. Golden will redirect his energies to full time service in ministry. Mr. Golden is looking forward to devoting more of his time to a long time passion for ministry.

"Leaving ICS is difficult since our company has such a family atmosphere," Mr. Golden said. "Although I am sure of my calling, providing Information Security Consulting services has proven both professionally and personally rewarding over the years. I will miss the day to day excitement of this industry."

Mr. Golden joined ICS in 2004 as the Service Delivery Manager in the Montgomery office. As the company grew, he was selected to serve as the first Chief Operating Officer and charged with the responsibility for day to day operations and management of the organization during the transition. When Mr. Golden became COO, ICS consisted of a single corporate entity with offices in Montgomery, Alabama, and Tallahassee, Florida. Mr. Golden has successfully led the company's growth into an enterprise comprised of four divisions with operations in several additional states including California, Delaware, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and others.

"On behalf of myself and the entire company, I want to express our great appreciation to Faron for his many contributions to ICS during his tenure." said Stephen S. Goldsby, ICS's CEO. "I am proud of Faron's accomplishments and know that he has positioned the company for even greater success in the future. Faron will be deeply missed by all of us, but I can think of no more fulfilling or important life purpose than the pursuit of full time ministry."

A retired veteran of twenty-three years of service with the United States Marine Corps, Mr. Golden is a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and has been recognized as a leader in the Information Security arena for a number of years. During his military career and as a Defense Contractor afterwards, Mr. Golden served as an Intelligence Analyst, an Electronic Warfare Specialist, and as an Instructor in various disciplines. Before joining ICS, Mr. Golden worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Technology Risk Services practice and with General Dynamics Network Systems in support of the Air Force Network Operations Center.

"It has been my pleasure to work with Faron over the past 3 years," said Tyler Hedges, Chief Financial Officer. "During that time I have valued his business acumen, his integrity, and his friendship. ICS is losing a valuable member of our executive team, but I am happy for him and Nancy to be able to follow his calling to the ministry."

As Mr. Golden leaves the organization to pursue a passion for the ministry, ICS has initiated an executive search for his replacement.
