Intergraph IT VP Awarded 2007 Mid-Market Leadership Award

CIO Decisions recognizes Bill Johnson for IT efficiencies and service improvements

HUNTSVILLE, Ala., June 20, 2007 CIO Decisions has selected Intergraph Corp. Vice President of Global IT Bill Johnson as one of the top 25 senior IT executives of 2007.

Johnson was recognized for his creation of the Program Management Office, the Direction and Control Office, work process standardization and the use of the IT Infrastructure Library to achieve efficiencies and improve service.

According to CIO Decisions, Johnson and the winning IT leaders have made superior achievements in improving their organization through preventing malfunctions, increasing performance, and adding value to the business as a whole. Winners were chosen from a pool of more than 200 national applicants and tabbed for their outstanding achievements in the resourceful, business-focused use of information technology. The honorees were hand selected by a collection of industry editors and six external judges, including IT executives honored with the award last year.

Anne McCrory, CIO Decisions editor in chief, said, "The judges were impressed both with the scope of the challenge that Bill faced and the organizational methods he rolled out to address them. All of Johnson's goals were tied directly to business goals of centralization, increasing margins and managing growth." Johnson and other senior IT executives were honored during CIO Decisions' second annual conference at the La Costa Resort in Carlsbad, CA and will be featured in the upcoming July edition of the CIO Decisions.
