Sara Upchurch Corporate Communications Manager (404)751-2553 sara.upchurch@intergraph.com John Deaver Corporate Communications Director (404)751-2579 john.deaver@intergraph.com Huntsville, Ala., – Sept. 28, 2007 InformationWeek has selected Intergraph Corp. as one of America's most innovative users of technology for inclusion in the 2007 InformationWeek 500 list. It was the first time for Intergraph to be named to the prestigious roster of information technology innovators. For nearly 20 years, InformationWeek has identified and honored the nation's most innovative users of information technology with its annual listing. The list is unique among corporate rankings because it spotlights the power of innovation in information technology, rather than simply identifying the biggest IT spenders among companies with more than $500 million in revenue. The top 2007 InformationWeek 500 companies were highlighted during the InformationWeek Conference Sept. 16-19 in Tucson, Arizona. Intergraph was recognized for improving productivity through new collaborative and communications technologies. Business operations have been optimized by centralizing control of IT operations, establishing enterprise technology standards, creating business-process frameworks and defined processes as well as improving data integrations between systems. The spatial information management software provider also was recognized for its existing global Oracle Siebel deployment within its Process, Power & Marine division, and the ongoing deployment project within the Security, Government & Infrastructure division that will eventually replace 14 homegrown customer service applications, and at least five maintenance contracts applications. "The InformationWeek 500 honors today's leading companies who set the benchmark for business technology strategies and projects," said InformationWeek vice president and publisher, John Siefert. "The companies on our list are some of the most innovative users of technology." Intergraph President and CEO R. Halsey Wise said, "The entire Intergraph organization is honored to be included in the esteemed InformationWeek 500. We at Intergraph have a long and proud history of technical innovation and continue to set the standard in providing spatial information management software to our clients. We are proud of this achievement and look forward to continuing to be at the forefront of innovative technology." Bill Johnson, Intergraph Global IT vice president, said, "Intergraph and our worldwide IT team are delighted to be recognized as innovators among our peers. Through its innovations, Intergraph intends to lower IT and business costs, improve customer service, and get better business intelligence to more employees, more quickly." In 2001, the Process, Power & Marine division's Oracle Siebel rollout was the first truly global solution for Intergraph. Completed in four years, the solution standardized global customer service for Process, Power & Marine customers. In 2005, the company than began to rollout the system for its Security, Government & Infrastructure division, leading to a consolidation of the Canada and U.S. Oracle Siebel systems. This single global solution provided a streamlined process which combined several disparate maintenance contracts systems into Oracle Siebel, allowing a central point for right-to-service, maintenance renewals, and revenue recognition.
